My next project

Mum has given me our old kitchen dresser from when my sisters and I were kids.  I plan on cleaning it up with a lick of paint.  Lachlan particularly likes opening and closing the doors, putting things away, etc.

The tea set in the photo is the now infamous one with the missing tea cup.  Someone decided to flush the pink cup down the toilet.  I had to have a few moments alone to take a few deep breaths and get over my disappointment. In the end I emailed Tea 2 and told them my tale of woe and they kindly posted out a replacement for free!  I've always liked T2!!

Anyway, I'll show you the finished product when it's done.

Book Week

Chatting with other parents at a birthday party on the weekend, I was alerted to the fact that Jack required a costume for kinder on Thursday. It needs to be a book character and super heros are not allowed... hmm.

So what do you think of my creation?  Its held together with sticky tape and safety pins!

Boogie board

I picked up from Mum & Dad's house my old boogie board this week and Jack has claimed it. If you look closely you can see that he is sleeping with it attached to his wrist!

Big name!

A few weeks ago Jack's favourite character Peppa Pig visited our local shopping centre.  He was thrilled to meet her!! Peppa is to pre-schoolers what One Direction is to teenage girls!  If Peppa or her brother George have done something it's likely that Jack will want to do it.
