Play, watch, lick and scare!

Lachlan is a big fan of Jack's kinder.  If he knew he still had a year to wait before he can start he'd be very upset!  Personally I can't believe he only has a year!

A big concrete cement truck came to our street, so of course we had to check it out.

Outdoor fashion

Lovely day outside today.  So good that I folded laundry on the outdoor furniture.  Lachlan and Jack thought it would be fun to wear Jack's undies as a hat!

Humpty

This morning Jack came into our room complaining that he didn't sleep very well.  I told him I hadn't either, woken by two kids through-out the night and dreaming when I actually could sleep.  Jack promptly went back to his room and came back with Humpty Dumpty.  "Mummy, when you dream you just need to cuddle Humpty and the dreams will go away."  So sweet!

Wet and windy days

Cold, wet and windy days means inside play.  We're half way through craft activities (waiting for glue and paint to dry), a roll of sticky tape entertained for a while (we will need to unwrap the dining table before dinner), and two train tracks have been built.  I wonder what we will do to survive tomorrow?
